Student Comparisons (Fall 2015 Comparative Religions Course)

 

Professor Knepper’s Fall 2105 Comparative Religions course studied death and dying in Tibetan Buddhism, the “cult” of Santa Muerte, and Christianity, with a special emphasis on bioethics (particularly in the case of Buddhism and Catholic Christianity). Below are some of the final papers in which students compare between these theologies of death and rituals of dying:
