In 1971, Ashworth Church (then West Des Moines Baptist Fellowship) began with a vision to reach people in the small, but growing community of West Des Moines, Iowa. Their timeless mission is to help people of all ages and backgrounds connect with Jesus, and to be a real presence of Jesus within the community. Ashworth is part of Converge, a network of like-minded Baptist Christians and churches. Ashworth shares a passion for the Great Commission of Jesus Christ as well as a commitment to Baptist principles of faith and practice.
