Student Comparisons (Fall 2016 Comparative Religions course)

Professor Knepper’s Fall 2106 Comparative Religions course studied death and dying in Judaism, Ndebele Traditional Ways, Buddhism, Secular Humanism, and the “cult” of Santa Muerte, with a special emphasis on bioethics (particularly in the case of Buddhism and Catholic Christianity). Below are some of the final papers in which students compare between these theologies of death and rituals of dying:
